Over 20 years ago in the small town of Fairfield, California, we decided to enter the marketplace with our handcrafted, award winning, “The Hog’s Rack Premium BBQ Sauce”. At The Hog’s Rack, we’ve taken every aspect of production to distribution with great thought and detail. This includes our brand name; We’ve transformed the meaning of the word “Hog”. Many would assume this means “pig”, but to us, a metaphor for “large and in charge”. The exact attitude we convey in our sauce. Now, the word Rack is a family word, meaning food, having been passed down for generations, for over 50 years. Uniquely, in our family the word Rack can mean “eating, enjoying eating, eating a lot, eating often, and also eating a variety of food at one time”. For example, asking someone, “Where do you want to rack at?”, “Oooh, you are really racking!”, “On your way over, bring me some rack.” This is where the spirit of the name The Hog’s Rack Premium BBQ Sauce came from.

While building this brand, we made a commitment to use only the finest blend of herbs and spices needed to build a superior brand. A brand, people from around the world could enjoy. We took a hard look at the offerings brought to the bbq sauce landscape and knew we had one of the best styles of bbq sauce, hands down.
